This page is dedicated to my
Kinnikuman Microman collection! I love
the Microman line for many reasons,
scale, articulation, but maybe best of
all, I appreciate how customizable they
are!
Enough talk, on with the show!
First up is Sunshine! He was made from a Japanese
Kinnikuman series PVC statue that I cut to pieces
and inserted joints into. The joints were purchased
from Hobby Link Japan, if you are wondering. Just
poke around there and I'm sure you'll find them.
There are two statues of Sunshine, one with his
"normal" chest with the sun emblem, the other with
his chest opened up to reveal his "cursed rollers."
Luckily, both can be popped right off the statue, so
now I can switch them out when ever I want.
I also hacked the head off another Kinnikuman PVC
statue (the one with all the bad guys) so I have an
angry head and a straight faced head.

Mammothman is another non-Microman base, but
he's pretty much in-scale for the Microman line!
He's a little taller than I'd like, but he's a BEAST
standing on my shelf!
His head came from the Kinnikuman Mini Big Heads
line. I cut off the nose and added one from a
Mammoth toy I found at Toys R Us. It is articulated
with a joint, it will go up and down.
The base is the hulk from the Marvel 3 3/4 line
highly modified with Magic Sculpt. I added in some
craft fur and Lego chains, and BAM! Mamothman
was done!

Neptuneman was made from the parts shown
below, the base is a Microman comic book
Superman, he's an awesome figure in his own
right, but he's a bit taller than the Kinniku
Microman line. That's fine because
Neptuneman is a hoss!
The head came from another PVC statue and
the boot fur and vest came off a PVC Neptune
man figurine. I had to cut and Dremel it like
crazy, but I eventually got them to fit the
Superman base.
Kinkotsuman on the right is a regular
old standard issue Japanese figure.
The one on the left has new
interchangeable, articulated hands
and a new joint installed for a head
swivel. Not much work, but a better
overall figure, in my opinion!
